Press Prospects

Terms of service

Effective date: 2026-10-29
Press Prospects is a service of Internet Physics, Inc.

Who we are

Press Prospects is a service of Internet Physics, Inc., a Delaware corporation (Delaware file number 10348328). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Internet Physics, Inc. acting under the name Press Prospects, and "you" means the business that receives our free trigger list or places an order with us.

Our services are for businesses only. By placing an order, you confirm that you act for a business and may bind it.

How Press Prospects works

We work by email. When you ask for something that these terms and your order confirmation do not answer, we refer it to the officers of Internet Physics, Inc., and the answer reaches you by email from john@pressprospects.com.

The free trigger list

The free trigger list costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It is not a trial: it never turns into a paid order, and we never ask for payment details to send it. We prepare at most one free trigger list for each company, identified by its website domain. We build it only from public sources, as described below, and you may use it as you wish.

The trigger list names 15 companies in your metro area. Each has a dated public print trigger from the last 60 days or an upcoming trade-show exhibitor listing (a rebrand, a new location, a launch or a newly hired marketing director), the source link, the role most likely to order print at that company, marked as named on a public page or inferred, and a draft first email for your rep to send, naming the trigger and your matching services.

We build it from your company's public website and address and from public news, press releases, local business journals, company websites, trade-show exhibitor lists published by show organisers, and public job posts and announcements. It needs nothing from you, and nothing is sent to any listed company. You judge each company's fit and minimum job; whether a company's print need is still open is not visible from public pages.

What we do for paying customers

Press Prospects trigger campaign

The campaign covers one metro area and one rep, with up to 200 new triggered prospects, as triggers allow. A metro area is the counties or county equivalents (areas the US Census Bureau counts as counties, such as an independent city or a parish) named for it in your order confirmation. You name them by email before the order is sent; if you name only a city, the metro area is the counties and county equivalents of that city's metropolitan statistical area, as the US Census Bureau defines it, and you may remove any of them before you accept. The work for a metro area covers only those counties and county equivalents.

Week one. We register sending domains and mailboxes in your company's name and warm them up. Your company owns these domains and mailboxes, as the order form states in writing, and they stay your company's. We send no email in your company's name before you have accepted the order form by email reply and approved the email template.

Weeks two to five, each week. We find new companies in your area with a dated public print trigger (a rebrand, a new location, a trade-show exhibitor listing, a launch or a new marketing director) and drop companies outside your line. We find the person in the role that orders print and verify a business email, skipping addresses that do not verify. We write and send one trigger-specific email and one follow-up per prospect, from the template you approved, under your rep's name, with your company's postal address and a one-click unsubscribe. We read and classify the replies and forward every quote, meeting (including on-site visit) or information request to your rep the same day, with the trigger attached. The campaign ends once 200 prospects have been emailed or at the end of week five, whichever comes first. Follow-ups and the forwarding of replies for its prospects continue for 14 days after it ends.

What you see. A shared log updated daily (company, trigger, source link, person, email sent, every reply including the no's, and each forwarded request), a weekly summary email, and, up to every two weeks on your request, a written review emailed by us, which you may answer with questions.

What you give us, and when. By email before the order form, your line: the services, minimum job and area we search (we ask for them in one message); the order form then states it. With the order form, accepted by your email reply, your authorisation to register sending domains and mailboxes in your company's name. Once, at purchase: your rep's name, signature and inbox address, and your company's postal address. Once, in week one and before any sending: your approval of the email template.

Who sends these emails. Under CAN-SPAM, your company is the sender of the programme's emails: they go out under your rep's name from domains your company owns, and carry your company's postal address and a one-click unsubscribe. We keep a shared suppression list and add every opt-out to it the same day, and we never email an address on it again for you. Your main email domain is never used.

Press Prospects trigger-email programme

After a first campaign has ended and been invoiced, you may order the programme. It continues the campaign's weekly work in the same metro area for the same rep, with up to 200 new triggered prospects a month, as triggers allow, on the same terms for the domains, mailboxes, sending, what you see and what you give us. It is never ordered together with a first campaign.

What's not included

Prices and billing

All prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax that applies by law. We bill only the events this section names; our own errors, retries and failed checks are never billed. We do not ask for payment details before you accept an order, and we start paid work only after you accept it as described in "How orders are made".

Press Prospects trigger campaign: by the launch schedule, $7.20 per prospect emailed for printers 1 to 5, $10.80 for printers 6 to 10 and $14.40 for printers 11 to 15, then the scheduled list price of $18.00; up to 200 prospects, so at most $1,440, $2,160, $2,880 or, at the scheduled list price, $3,600 a campaign, no setup fee. Each printer is told its step price and the scheduled list price, and keeps its step price for its monthly programme and any later campaign. A prospect becomes billable when its first email is sent under your rep's name to the verified business address of the person who orders print at a company with a dated trigger. We invoice a campaign once, by email, when it ends, for the prospects emailed, and you pay it by ACH or wire to the account named on the invoice.

Press Prospects trigger-email programme: the same per-prospect price the printer pays for its campaign, up to 200 a month, so at most $3,600 a month at the scheduled list price, no setup fee. A prospect becomes billable as in a campaign, and sending stops for the month at 200 prospects. We invoice each month by email at its end, for that month's prospects emailed, and you pay it by ACH or wire to the account named on the invoice.

Never billed: a setup fee, or setting up and warming the domains and mailboxes; follow-ups and forwarded replies; companies skipped because the address does not verify or the draft fails our checks; the trigger list; a month that starts after you cancel or while the programme is paused.

Automatic renewal

Press Prospects trigger-email programme renews automatically. Press Prospects trigger-email programme is billed at the same per-prospect price the printer pays for its campaign, up to 200 a month (at most $3,600 a month at the scheduled list price) every month and renews automatically until you cancel. Your first charge for it is invoiced by email at the end of its first month, for that month's prospects emailed; it starts only after a first campaign has ended and been invoiced. We start it only after you have replied to its order confirmation with the words "I agree to automatic renewal", separately from accepting the rest of the order, and we keep that reply for at least 3 years, or for 1 year after the plan ends if that is later. When it starts, we email you these terms and how to cancel. We email you at least 30 days before any change to its price, and at least once a year we email you its price, how often you are charged and how to cancel.

To cancel, reply CANCEL to any email from us, or email hello@pressprospects.com with the word CANCEL. No call, form or reason is needed, and we confirm the cancellation by email within one business day. If you cancel before your next month starts, that month and every later month are not charged. Work stops at the end of the current month, which is invoiced for its prospects emailed, and the sending domains and mailboxes stay your company's.

To pause instead, reply PAUSE. While Press Prospects trigger-email programme is paused we do no work on it and charge nothing for it. It restarts only when you reply RESUME; if you have not replied RESUME within 3 months, it ends without any further charge.

Cancelling an order

Press Prospects trigger campaign: you may stop a campaign at any time by replying CANCEL to any email from us, or by emailing hello@pressprospects.com with the word CANCEL. Sending stops when we receive it; the prospects already emailed are invoiced, and nothing else is owed. A campaign never renews and never turns into the programme: the programme starts only if you order it after the campaign.

Guarantees and refunds

Every guarantee we offer, with its conditions, and our refund rule are on our guarantee page at https://pressprospects.com/guarantee. A promise that is not on that page or in your order confirmation is not a guarantee we make.

How orders are made

We send you an order form by email from john@pressprospects.com. It states what we will do, the price and the guarantee that apply. An order is made when you reply to it with your full name, your title, your company's name and the words "I agree"; that reply is your electronic signature on the order form. The order form and these terms are our whole agreement for that order; if they differ, the order form applies.

You can also sign an order for the first paid unit on our website at https://pressprospects.com by submitting the order form there with your full name, your title and your company's name; submitting it is your electronic signature on that order, and the text beside its button says so. The order is made only when we email you an order confirmation from john@pressprospects.com stating what we will do, the dates, the price and the guarantee that apply, and that confirmation is part of our agreement for that order. We send it only once we are ready to start the work; until then no order is made and nothing is owed. A plan that renews automatically is never ordered on the website: it needs your separate email consent as described above.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the information and files you send us are accurate and that you have the right to give them to us for the work you order. You use what we deliver in compliance with the laws that apply to you.

For the trigger-email programme you also: accept by email reply the authorisation to register sending domains and mailboxes in your company's name, which comes with the order form; pay each invoice by ACH or wire; send us your rep's name, signature and inbox address and your company's postal address once, at purchase; approve the email template once, in week one, before any sending; and have your rep answer and quote the requests we forward. Because your company is the sender of the programme's emails under CAN-SPAM, tell us by email to hello@pressprospects.com when your postal address or your rep changes, so that every email carries the right ones.

Your material and our work

You keep all rights in the material you send us. Once you have paid for an order, what we deliver under it is yours to use and change. We keep the right to reuse our general methods and know-how, but not your material or your deliverables. How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy at https://pressprospects.com/privacy.

Confidentiality

We keep the non-public information you send us confidential, use it only to do your work, and share it only with the kinds of service providers our privacy policy names. This does not cover information that is public or that you have told us we may share.

No promise of results

We promise the work described in your order, not a business result such as replies, meetings, sales or revenue, unless a guarantee on our guarantee page says otherwise. Estimates, examples and benchmarks we share are not promises.

A dated trigger shows that a company may be buying print, not that it is; a forwarded quote request is not a won job, and a sent email is not a reply. We do not promise any number of replies, quotes, meetings or won jobs.

How the figures on our website are calculated: the dollar figures come from our model of a typical printer's numbers: a 200-prospect campaign, the least number of forwarded requests we plan for, a one-in-five win, a typical account's yearly print spend and a listed commercial printer's gross margin. Your own results depend on your own numbers.

Limitation of liability

Apart from the work described in your order and the guarantees on our guarantee page, we make no other warranties, express or implied. The free trigger list is provided as is.

Except for amounts you owe for work delivered, each party's total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or any order is limited to the amount you paid us under the order concerned in the 12 months before the claim arose. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, even if told they were possible. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending an order

Either of us may end an order that is not yet finished, by email, if the other seriously breaks these terms and does not fix it within 15 days of being told. You then pay for the work delivered up to that point, and we refund what you paid for work not delivered.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms by publishing a new version on this page with a new effective date. An order keeps the terms in force when it was made. For a plan that renews automatically, we email you any change at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you may cancel before then.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and every order are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before either of us starts a legal claim, we try for 30 days to settle the matter by email. A claim that is not settled is brought only in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both of us accept their jurisdiction.

General

You may not transfer an order to someone else without our agreement by email. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. Notices under these terms are given by email: ours come from john@pressprospects.com, and yours go to hello@pressprospects.com.
